We are currently seeking a Senior Manager: SDLC Platform

 

Role Overview: Lead multiple service teams through tactical strategies and optimization of the practices and capabilities. Lead the provision and management of development platforms, environments, and tooling, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability across all stages of the software development lifecycle, enabling software delivery teams to focus on development without concerns for platform, environment, or tool discrepancies.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and optimization of SDLC platform tools and processes, including version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing frameworks.
  • Ensure the SDLC platform supports efficient and scalable software development and delivery across the organization.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the SDLC platform processes and tools, and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive initiatives to standardize and automate development workflows, reducing cycle times and improving software quality.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure the SDLC platform meets their needs and integrates effectively with other systems and processes.
  • Facilitate communication between teams to align SDLC platform practices with overall engineering strategies and project requirements.
  • Manage team budget to align with strategy, ensuring financial feasibility across projects. Contribute to the development of departmental budget.
  • Manage projects to ensure they adhere to estimated costs and provide input into reducing costs and optimizing software.
  • Lead and drive a management team with a focus on strategic delivery, setting clear direction and transparent expectations, to exhibit the culture and values of the business and achieve / exceed KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the SDLC process, including incident management, problem resolution, and change management processes.

 

Key Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • 8-12 years, with 8 years of experience in software engineering, enterprise platform or environment delivery & at least 3 years in leadership role.
  • Advanced understanding of job-related concepts and specialization in some areas and/or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); SDLC Governance (COBIT, ITIL, ISO etc); Software Development; Quality Assurance and Testing; DevOps and CI/CD; In-depth iGaming Operator Knowledge; Regulatory Compliance; Platform Architecture; Modern Development Methodology; AI/ML.
  • Thorough understanding of business domain, business strategy and long-term objectives; Technical Debt; Architecture & Design Principles; Customer Portfolio; Product Portfolio.
