We are currently looking for a Senior Manager: ITSM 

Role Overview: As the Senior Manager: ITSM, you will lead the global IT Service management department through tactical strategies and optimization of the capabilities required to deliver effective change, incident, problem, service and asset management services that align with the technology services strategy and needs of the business and its customers.  

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Implement and maintain an IT Service Delivery strategy, aligned to overall ITSM strategy to supply managed services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead teams responsible for deployment, maintenance and optimization of robust IT
  • infrastructure, data centers, cloud service, and network systems to deliver scalable global operational requirements.
  • Execute system reliability enhancements that ensure minimal downtime, quick resolution of incidents and high system reliability.
  • Develop and implement robust performance reporting systems to track IT service performance against KPI’s and SLAs to meet customer and business expectations.
  • Lead, monitor and improve the development of change management processes that safeguard the business by ensuring that changes to IT services and infrastructure are manage in a controlled manner, minimizing risk and impact on service quality.
  • Creation and evolution of the IT Asset Framework, that determines the requirements for IT assets to ensure they are properly inventoried, deployed, maintained, and retired in a cost-effective and risk-managed manner.
  • Develop a problem management strategy that identifies and resolves root cases of IT incidents to prevent future occurrences, ensuring cross function collaboration and implantation of solutions.

 

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • 8-10 years' experience in managing and improving IT Operations, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, IT Asset Management, or other relevant experience
  • Of which 1-2 years' experience managing multiple teams
  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or Business Management

 

Specific & Business Knowledge Required:

  • Microsoft MCSD or MCSE, Agile Certifications, ITIL, Cobit, ISO 2000
  • Understanding of project management processes.
  • Experience in implementing and managing IT service management tools and systems.
