We are currently looking for multiple Product Designers to join our Cape Town, Durban or Pretoria offices.

Role Overview: Provide innovative and user-centered design solutions for software products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and commercial goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, visually appealing designs that enhance user experience and drive market success.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and design systems, to ensure consistency and clarity across the software while ensuring that this documentation is accessible to all team members and supports effective implementation and communication of design concepts.
• Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and gather actionable insights for refinement.
• Develop user personas, user journeys, and user flows to guide the design process and ensure a deep understanding of user requirements.
• Ensure that products are designed to be suitable for clients and align with current market requirements. Focus on cost-effectiveness while balancing company goals, product strategy, and client needs.
• Utilize analytics and research to design effective solutions for product development. Prototype and implement changes in alignment with the product's business strategy, ensuring they meet both client needs and market demands.

Key Qualifications: 

• 3 – 5 years of experience in Product Design.
• Expanded knowledge base with a deeper understanding of job-related concepts and/or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Product Management

Specific & Business Knowledge Required:

• Design Thinking, Prototyping Tools; Design Systems and Components; UI/UX Principles; Interaction Design; User Research; Usability Testing and Accessibility Standards; Product Design Principles & Practices
• Knowledge of current trends; current product portfolio; current customer portfolio; understanding of various sale platforms & territories; market insights & industry knowledge.
