We are transforming our FP&A (Financial Planning and Analytics) function into a strategic, technology-driven powerhouse that proactively shapes business decisions. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in embedding finance within key business units, providing real-time insights, driving financial planning, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and a passion for leveraging financial insights to influence strategy. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Business Partnering & Decision Support 
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive financial insights and optimize performance. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic financial input to support revenue growth, cost efficiency, and investment decisions. 
  • Develop and present financial insights that influence leadership and business decisions. 
  • Financial Planning & Performance Management 
  • Implement and manage rolling forecasts, ensuring agility and accuracy in financial planning. 
  • Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends. 
  • Support business units in understanding financial performance through data-driven insights. 
  • Build fit-for-purpose models to support commercial initiatives.
  • Strategic Finance & Capital Management 
  • Assist in evaluating capital investments, providing ROI analysis, and supporting business case development. 
  • Work on scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to enhance long-term financial planning. 
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, commercial viability assessments, and financial modelling for new initiatives. 
  • Product & Customer-Centric Finance 
  • Develop and refine product-level P&Ls and customer profitability/efficiency insights to support revenue growth. 
  • Work closely with business units to drive pricing strategies and improve margin optimisation. 
  • Support go-to-market strategies and assess financial impact on new product launches. 
  • Data, Automation & Process Improvement 
  • Support the implementation of FP&A tools, ensuring seamless integration with business operations. 
  • Leverage and improve BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, TM1) to automate reporting and enhance real-time decision-making. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automation, and data integrity. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. 
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering. 
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis. 
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation tools (Power BI, SQL, or similar). 
  • Experience in a tech, SaaS, gaming, or data-driven environment is preferred. 
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, translating financial insights into strategic action. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous learning and process improvement.
